Gym Expectations

Hello Grade 7 & 8 Gym Classes



Proper Gym Clothes
1. Shorts
2. Shirt
3. Deodorant/Lotion



Blue and Gold Colours to score a 4+

The Program
The 1st Term report will include:
Volleyball/Ultimate (Individual skills will be evaluated along with over all play)
Circuit Training (endurance and ability will be evaluated)
Tae Bo (endurance,  coordination, and core strength will be evaluated)

These 3 items in combination with your gym clothes mark will generate your overall gym mark.

Gym is a significant subject in middle school in order to score acceptable marks a dedicated effort and commitment in the subject is required.








The Routine
1. Line up on Black line in order with gym clothes out for inspection (regardless if you have your clothes or not you line up in order)
2. 5 minutes to get changed / Make sure your gear is hung or placed on the top shelf (nothing on the floor or on the bench)
3. Go sit in your squad after getting changed
4. Warm Up will begin



Warm Up
1. Warm up lines
2. Walking on black line
3. Jogging on black line
4. Running on black line
5. 15 star jumps
6. Repeat
7. Stretch (Double periods)



No Clothes / No Problem
1. 3 days in a row or 5 total in the term will be a extension of gym class when your class has gym last period
2. 3 days no gym clothes you will stay on the side writing out a PE task on nutrient and muscle development
